CBSA Company Showcase

The CBSA Company Showcase will take networking to a new level, providing you with the opportunity to learn all about other CBSA member companies. It's your chance to go beyond social and truly connect with other members. Participating companies will have the opportunity to display materials about their expertise to fellow CBSA members. The showcase will be available for you to explore before, during and after the Business Session on Friday.

  • Each participating company will be provided with a 6' table, chair and tabletop sign with company logo.
  • Each participating company is responsible for providing their own presentation/promotional materials and shipping or bringing any presentation materials to the hotel.
Cost: $200

CBSA Annual Banquet Dinner Cruise

Set sail with new friends and industry peers at the CBSA Annual Banquet Dinner Cruise. All convention delegates and spouses/companions are invited to eat, drink and relax aboard a luxury yacht! Guests will board the yacht from the dock at the Turnberry Isle Marriott and set out for sail on the Atlantic coast. Dinner and drinks will be served during the three hour cruise. You will not want to miss this memorable dinner cruise!

Annual Banquet Dinner Cruise Schedule:

6:15 p.m.   Meet at hotel porte cochere for transportation to cruise
7:00 p.m.   Cruise departs (don’t miss the boat!)
10:00 p.m.   Cruise returns to dock 
10:15 p.m.   Transportation from cruise back to hotel

Steeped in a rich country club tradition are two legendary 18-hole championship golf courses in Aventura. Originally designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Soffer course has been re-imagined by famous golf icon Raymond Floyd and has been played host to numerous South Florida PGA and LPGA championships.

Tour Schedule
11:30 a.m. – Meet at Hotel Porte Cochere for bus transportation to Little Havana
3:30 p.m. – Bus returns to JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Isle

Taste authentic Cuban cuisine at five local hot spots and listen to the stories behind those doing the cooking. Learn about the culture of the community practices, including Santeria. Relax with a cocktail, visit a cigar factory, explore the area at Domino Park and The Cuba Ocho Art Museum.

Dress: Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. The tour will last around three hours and will cover about two miles walking.

Tour Cost: US$90

Thriller Miami Speedboat is a power catamaran that takes you on an offshore adventure providing the ultimate sightseeing experience in true "Miami Vice" style. You’ll cruise down the Port of Miami, then into Biscayne Bay and over to Star Island where we’ll slow down and you'll receive a short narration of some of the homes at Millionaires Row. From there you are back up to speed (45/50mph) and out past Fisher Island into the Atlantic Ocean along South Beach and then adventure through the beautiful waters of Biscayne Bay before heading back to Bayside Marketplace.

Tour Schedule
1:00 p.m. – Meet at Hotel Porte Cochere for Transportation
1:30 p.m. – Arrive at Bayside Marketplace and head to Marina
2:00 p.m. – Tour begins
3:00 p.m. - Free time to explore the Bayside Marketplace
4:00 p.m. – Bus transportation returns to hotel

Tour includes: Round trip transportation to the Bayside Marketplace and an exciting opportunity to tour Miami from the water!

Dress:
Wear a comfortable outfit for an outdoor activity. The boat cruise is a wild ride and can be bumpy; you will likely get wet.

Private Supplier/Service Center Meetings

CBSA leadership is focused on using the time at the convention to promote networking and collaboration on key industry issues. The CBSA Convention is also an opportune time to meet with your suppliers/service centers. 

To promote your efforts we have added time for these meetings on the schedule of events. In order to facilitate participation in the other scheduled activities during the convention, please plan your meetings during this designated time. There is no cost for renting the private meeting room, but food and beverage or audio visual equipment may be purchased for an additional fee.
