Everglades Wonder Gardens Tour
The premier wildlife and botanical showplace of southwest Florida, the Everglades Wonder Gardens, was founded by two retired bootleggers with a lot of land and free time. The attraction still has a rough-and-tumble edge, and you can get closer than you may be comfortable with. The “swing bridge” over the swamp pit offers a good, usually safe, view of the alligators’ lunch feeding.
CBSA will be bringing some of these reptilian beasts to the breakfast meeting on Tuesday, March 30. (We’ve been told the animals will have already had their morning meal.) Later that day, you can get even closer to all of the animals during a tour of the Gardens. This optional tour is $65 and includes lunch.
