La Vallauris is named after a small village in the South of France and specializes in cuisine from that region. The daily offerings are handwritten on a large board brought to your table to stand like artwork on an easel while you make your selections. Celebrity Home Tour
This is a 3-1/2 hour driving tour through the celebrity homes of Palm Springs. The driving tour includes trips by Frank Sinatra’s famed Twin Palms property, Liberace’s mansion, a trip down the Palm Springs Walk of Stars, homes in the famed Palm Springs Movie Colony, Ruth Hardy Park, Cary Grant’s Palm Springs estate and more.
The final stop is the home of “the King” himself; Elvis Presley. This estate has been restored to its original 1960s splendor. It does not contain a single square room, but is built in five octagonal areas, all covered with one elliptical roof. The home features extensive memorabilia, photos and documentation from Elvis and Pricilla's happy days at their Honeymoon Hideaway. The estate is not open to the public so the house can only be seen during a private tour.
