Registration fees will increase $100 after this date – register today and save!


Non-Member Companies
There is a significant cost savings on registration fees for CBSA members, so why not join CBSA and start saving right away? Contact CBSA staff to get your membership application started today.


Spouses/Companions
All spouses/companions are welcome to attend the business sessions, educational offerings and social events.


Cancellation/Refunds
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by March 12, 2018. A refund of the full conference fee, minus a $100 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests postmarked after March 12, 2018. Submit all requests to CBSA staff via email at mmoore@copper-brass.org. CBSA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.

For men, business casual attire includes:
  • Slacks
  • Polo or button-down shirts
  • Sweaters
For women, business casual attire includes:
  • Sweaters/blouses
  • Skirts
  • Slacks
Meeting rooms may vary in temperature. We suggest you bring a sweater or light jacket for business meetings.   

The Cocktail Reception and CBSA Annual Banquet on Wednesday evening is cocktail attire which includes sport coats for men and dresses or slacks for women.     

Optional events (Taste of Florida Seas Cooking Class and Kayak/Paddle Boarding Tour) and the Closing Party are casual attire (shorts, sandals, t-shirts are OK). If you are golfing, please wear appropriate golf attire.   


Pre-Arranged Seating 
The Get Acquainted Dinner on Tuesday, April 10 and Annual Banquet on Wednesday, April 11 will have pre-arranged seating. Seating assignments will be available on-site.

Rock the Dock Closing Party

Thursday, April 12, 2018

Unwind after a productive week of meetings with new friends and industry peers at the Rock the Dock Closing Party. All convention delegates and spouses/companions are invited to eat, drink and relax! Guests will take a pontoon boat from the dock at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa to Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille. On the 45 minute pontoon boat ride, guests will enjoy a narrated Eco-tour of the tropical Estero Bay estuarine systems while sailing the smooth back waters of the Gulf. You won’t want to miss this chance to kick back and look for your lost shaker of salt! 

Attire is casual –bust out those Hawaiian shirts, shorts and sandals!

5:30 p.m.   Guests meet at dock at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point 
5:45 p.m.   Pontoon boats depart
6:30 p.m.   Pontoon boats arrive at Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille

Each hole of the Raptor Bay Golf Club was carefully crafted to blend with the environment, leaving a beautiful course with natural surroundings. Set on nearly 25 acres of wetlands with no residential sites on the property, the natural surroundings encourage the appearance of protected wild creatures including the American Bald Eagle, Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets and even the very shy Whooping Crane. The tournament-quality course features wide fairways with one height of cut throughout and five sets of tees to give players of every skill level a memorable outing.

Tour Cost: US$75

A local artist will guide participants step-by-step through a 2 hour painting in a lovely courtyard on the Hyatt property. Attendees can sip on their favorite beverages and socialize with the group while awakening their inner artist. At the end of this activity, each person leaves with a unique and memorable masterpiece! CBSA staff can ship your painting home at the end of convention.

Tour Schedule
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.– Meet in Banyon Courtyard at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point for painting and wine!

Tour includes: An onsite painting instructor, canvas and painting supplies, shipment of your painting, beer and wine.

Dress: Wear clothes you feel comfortable painting in.

 

Optional Tour: Kayak/Paddle Board Tour

Tour Cost: US$120

On this two-hour journey the guide will show you the mystery of the river and bay while soaking up the sun! All levels welcome! Even if you have never kayaked or paddle boarded before, you will love this chance to get out on the water and experience the beauty of the Florida gulf.

Tour Schedule
1:30 p.m. – Meet in Hotel Lobby for Transportation 
2:00 p.m. – Tour begins 
4:00 p.m. – Tour concludes
4:15 p.m. – Bus transportation returns to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point

Tour includes: Round trip transportation to the tour site and all kayak and paddle board rentals. 

Dress: Wear a comfortable outfit for an outdoor activity. Bathing suits, cover-ups and workout apparel are ideal for this activity. Water shoes are optional.
